On the 14th of June 2024, the HAMNASA team attended a celebration ceremony to conclude the USAID I Timor-Leste’s Health System sustainability activity in Timor-Leste.
HAMNASA is delighted to be able to participate in this ceremony and is immensely proud to receive a token of appreciation from USAIDs Health System sustainability activities in Timor-Leste. HAMNASA is proud to be able to participate in the implementation of this activity from february 2022 to August 2023 through support to COVID-19 response activities and increase the use of essential community health services in municipalities such as Ainaro, Bobonaro, Ermera, Liquica, Aileu and Lautem, during the pandemic.
Some other results of the HAMNASA supported activities include:
- Over 265,418 people received at least one of the 30 new SMS messages from Hamnasa.
- More than 50,000 people engaged with over 30 social media posts created by Hamnasa and the activity for PSA posts, 17,274 viewers saw at least one of four videos produced by HAMNASA and the activity
- A total of 2,180 people including local authorities (administrator of municipality, police, village chiefs), religious leaders, teachers, and community members, participated in 52 advocacy meetings facilitated by HAMNASA and municipality health care professionals.
- Over 80000 population received vaccines (first, second, booster dose) from December 2021 to August 2023HAMNASA would like to congratulate USAID LHSS activity’s success during all of its implementation and HAMNASA is very honored to have worked together with USAID Health System Sustainability in Timor-Leste.
