On the 6th of June 2024, our TB Mobile Van team conducted a screening and testing activity in Taibesi Village, and we are happy to inform you that a large number of people of all ages and genders registered and got immediate testing with our health provider team.
In addition to promptly identifying cases, our committed healthcare professionals are actively involved in the community and disseminating important information regarding the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis.
The TB mobile van program will continue to diagnose cases of the disease in different neighborhoods around the municipality of Dili. The community at large as well as moms and children under five will be the main targets of this initiative. It will also entail tracking down household contacts of those who have been diagnosed with tuberculosis and offering preventive treatment.
